HOW DOES TATTOO REMOVAL WORK?
A Q-Switch, ND Yag, Tattoo Removal machine produces pulses of light that are directed on to the tattoo, breaking up the tattoo pigment. The broken pieces of tattoo pigment are then absorbed as waste material through the bloodstream and eliminated through the body’s lymphatic system, urinary system and sweat glands.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE TATTOO TO BE REMOVED?
The number of laser treatments required to remove a tattoo depends on the colours, quality and depth of the tattoo ink and type of ink. Typically treatments require 6-8 treatments, however, in some clients, more treatments sessions are needed. Procedures can be performed every 6-8 weeks, depending on skin type and reaction.
Predicting the number of treatments necessary for tattoo removal is very difficult. Also, the response difference from one client to another involves the efficiency of his or her immune system.
